Mobile App Development

One codebase, both app stores

I build mobile apps with Flutter, so iOS and Android come from one codebase instead of two teams and two budgets. ChatCubie — messaging, voice and video calls, groups and an in-app wallet — is built this way and runs on both stores today.

What makes this different

Both platforms, one build

Flutter compiles to real native apps. You are not paying twice for the same screens.

Works when the signal drops

Data is cached on the device and syncs when the connection returns, instead of showing an error.

Push notifications set up

Firebase configured, tested on real handsets, with the certificates handed to you.

I handle the store submission

App Store and Play Console listings, screenshots and review responses are part of the job.

Questions about mobile app development

?Native or cross-platform?

Flutter unless the app needs something only native can do. For most products the difference is invisible to users and the saving is real.

?Do I need an Apple developer account?

Yes, and it should be in your name — $99 a year. Google Play is a one-off $25. Owning the accounts means owning the apps.

?What if Apple rejects the app?

Rejections are common on a first submission and usually about metadata or permissions. I handle the response and resubmission at no extra cost.

?Can it share a backend with my website?

Yes, and it should. One API, one database, one set of accounts across web and mobile.
